- What if you cannot increase your magnesium enough through your diet?
Ask your physician or pharmacist about a magnesium supplement. A 14 month randomized trial shows that magnesium supplements are of considerable benefit and show no harmful effects in patients receiving cisplatin treatment.
It is suggested that magnesium supplements should be a routine part of the treatment regime, and that these should comprise of both i.v. supplements during treatment and oral supplements between courses.7
If your diet isn't giving you the magnesium your body needs to function at its best, ask about SLOW-MAG®, Magnesium Supplement Tablets, a dietary supplement that is enteric-coated to help prevent stomach upset and relies on magnesium chloride to help your body absorb more magnesium compared to magnesium oxide.8
